Preston Greene, CSCS is the Director of Strength & Conditioning for the Florida Gators basketball, golf & tennis teams at the University of Florida in Gainsville, FL.
Greene earned a bachelor’s degree in health science from Clemson in 1999, with a minor in sports management, and received a master’s degree in 2000 from the University of Minnesota in applied kinesiology and sports management.
Greene holds numerous certifications, including the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA). He also recently earned certification as a performance enhancement specialist by the National Association of Sports Medicine (NASM).
He also contributed to the third edition of Basketball for Dummies by Digger Phelps, released in October 2011, updating and revising a chapter on strength and conditioning.
During his first season at Florida, Greene’s work with the Gators was featured on the cover of Bigger, Faster, Stronger magazine. Greene and the Gators’ offseason strength program was featured on ESPN’s Gymratts program during the 2019 offseason
